How this works
Sorgenfrei is a shop, a quoting service and private storefronts for companies, all in one place. This page explains which part you need and how each one works. For questions about minimums, artwork and lead times, see the FAQ.
Four ways in, depending on who you are.
| If you want to… | Go to | Do you need an account? |
|---|---|---|
| Browse and buy stock items yourself | The shop | No |
| Get a price for a branded order | Request a quote | No |
| Order from your own company’s approved range | Your company store | An access code or an account, from your employer |
| Manage your company’s ordering, budgets and users | Your portal | Yes — you are invited to it |
Tip
If you have been told your company has a store but you do not have the link, ask whoever handles uniforms or marketing at your organisation. Sorgenfrei cannot give you access to a client’s store without them.
Browse, bag, checkout, track.
- Browse the catalogue, or narrow it down by category, and open a product to see its colours, sizes, branding options and stock.
- Add what you want to your bag, then go to checkout and give us your contact and delivery details.
- Place the order. The confirmation page shows your order number and how to pay.
- Come back to order tracking any time with your order number and email to see where it is.
Tip
Prices lead with the ex-VAT figure, with the VAT-inclusive price shown next to it. Most buyers here work ex-VAT, but both numbers are always on the page. Some made-to-order products show Price on enquiry instead: use Request a quote on the product page and we will price your order.
What it doesn't do
Shop prices are for unbranded stock. Branding is quoted separately, because the cost depends on the method, the number of colours and the quantity — use the quote request for a branded price.
Choose a colour family or a specific shade.
- Open Products or a product category. On a phone, open Filters to see the Colour section.
- Tick the checkbox beside a family, such as Blue, to include all of its listed shades. Select the family name to expand the shade list; ticking a shade such as Cyan selects only that shade.
- Use Search colours to find a family or shade. If a family is ticked, untick it before choosing individual shades. You can select several families or shades; products matching any selected colour are included.
- Combine colours with category, size, brand or price to narrow the results further. Remove a selection using its filter chip, or choose Clear all. Without JavaScript, choose Apply filters after making your selections.
- Open the product and choose its exact colour and size before adding it to your bag. A family selection finds products; it does not choose the colour you will order.
Tip
A family’s number counts distinct products, so it can be smaller than the sum of its shade counts. Navy is separate from Blue. Combinations such as Black/Red appear under both named families but still refer to one exact colour combination when you order. Other colours includes patterns, mixed colours, transparent finishes and supplier options that do not belong to a named family. Swatches are approximate — check the product photographs.
Orders are settled by EFT against a pro-forma invoice. After you order, someone from our team contacts you to finalise the details, then sends the invoice with the payment instructions. Nothing is due at checkout. We deliver across South Africa.
What it doesn't do
There is no card checkout on the site. If you were expecting to pay by card, tell us when you order and we will tell you what we can arrange.
For branded, bulk or custom work.
- Send us the request with what you want, roughly how many, and when you need it. Artwork is welcome but not required at this stage.
- A Sorgenfrei rep picks it up and comes back to you, usually with options rather than a single price — material, method and quantity all move the number.
- If we send you a priced proposal, it arrives as a link you can open, review and accept or decline. Accepting turns it into an order.
Tip
Vector artwork (PDF, AI or EPS) gives the cleanest result on every branding method. If yours is not production-ready we will say so and tell you exactly what we need.
A private, branded catalogue for your staff.
A company store is your own catalogue: only the items you have approved, at your prices, with your branding already applied and your logo on the page. Your staff order from it directly, so you stop being the middle step in every uniform request.
- You choose who can order — either by handing out access codes, or by inviting people as named users.
- Shared-code stores can cap spending per code and block or request approval for excess spend. Named-user stores use branch budget periods and Head Office requests.
- You see every order your staff place, and what has been spent against each budget.
Send us the order number if you have one — it is the fastest way for us to find what you are asking about.
